UCCs Ciara O’Connell has just returned from Korea along with assistant coach Greg Yelverton fresh from Irelands 6 match campaign at the World University Games. The womens Soccer team finished 13th in the tournament which was won by France who beat Russia in the final.

Women’s playoff for  13th:

Women’s Play off places 13-14: Ireland 3 (R Maguire 64, 83, Hansberry 90+3) South Africa 3 (R Jane 58, 79, S Dlamini 39). Ireland won 4-2 on pens.
