One omission from the list of All Star awardees from previous email. PhD Chemistry student Vera Foley also received a Gaelic Football All Star for her performances with Cork this past year.

UCC were beaten 2:8 – 3:11 by DCU in the Higher Colleges League semi-final last thursday

HURLING:
UCC seniors havequalified for the colleges league final to be played on Wednesday. They play Carlow IT.

UCC women were crowned Fresher Intervarsity champions in Maynooth at the weekend

UCC’s Deirdre O Sullivan came 2nd at the Women’s U23 at ther indoor national championships

UCC were beaten semi-finalists at a national tournament at the weekend
RUGBY:

RACQUETBALL:
UCC’s Aisling Hickey won the Irish Womens Senior Open Racquetball Championships in Tipperary at the weekend. She also won the Women’s doubles title.
