Ultimate – IFDA Awards

Each year the IFDA, (Irish Flying Disc Association) who are the national governing body for Ultimate in Ireland, hold an awards night to recognise individuals’ contribution to Irish ultimate in the past year. This year, we are delighted to announce that six UCC Ultimate players and three UCC alumni have been shortlisted to receive some of these awards. UCC has also been shortlisted for the ‘College of the Year’ award.

Below are the nominees currently in UCC.

Leanne O’Neill – Contribution to the development of Irish Ultimate

In total, 17 of the 61 names in the short-list are either studying in UCC or have previously studied at UCC. It is a great honour for the club to have so many nominees and we wish to extend a huge congratulations to all those who have been nominated. The awards night is being held in Dublin on October 31st and we wish all candidates the very best of luck!
