UCC Clubs Executive AGM 2018
The Clubs Executive AGM will be held in Western Gateway Building G05 on Wednesday 11th March at 7pm. The agenda for the evening is as follows:

The awards that will be given out on the night will be Best Community Spirit of the Year, Best Website of the Year, Best Social Media Content of the Year and Best Financial Management of the Year. The Best Community Spirit of the Year award is a new award and will recognise a club who has made an outstanding contribution to community engagement, charity or similar activities.
The officers that will be elected on the night will be President; Vice President; Secretary; Treasurer; Public Relations Officer; Health, Safety and Welfare Officer; and three Ordinary Committee Members. In order to be eligible to run for a position on the Clubs Executive, you must have previously held a position on a club committee, and must be a current student who will be a student next year (except in the case of Clubs President, where you may be finishing your time in college this year). Please note that the role of Clubs President is a full-time, paid sabbatical role while all other positions are part time positions.
If you would like to run for the position of Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations Officer, Health, Safety & Welfare Officer or Ordinary Committee Member, you must submit nominations from three clubs, one of which must be your own. These clubs must be available to attend the AGM on the night.
If you would like to run for the position of President, you must submit nominations from five clubs, one of which must be your own, along with a manifesto. These clubs must be available to attend the AGM on the night.
All nominations for all positions must be in by 5pm on the 8th April.
I would highly recommend talking to whoever is currently in the role you would like to run for, before committing to the role. You can find everyone’s contact details here.
If there is anything you or your club would like to add to the agenda, this must also be submitted by 5pm on the 8th April.
Please find attached also the proposed changes to the constitution with the changes to be made highlighted in green.
Finally, for voting procedures on the night, votes may be cast by club committee members present at the AGM, up to a maximum of three votes per club.
