Great weekend for UCC Sport


UCC men’s hockey defeated Bandon 3-2 at the Mardyke on Saturday in a top of the table clash in the Munster Senior League. It sets things up for next weekend’s meeting of the two again in the final league match of the season and the winner takes all. Can UCC men win the MSL & qualify for the All Ireland league with victory next weekend??


UCC seniors defeated Nenagh Ormond in the Mardyke in their final AIL league match of the season 13:0 to cement a playoff spot for promotion. They now face an away fixture to Banbridge in the playoff semi-final.

In the Frazer McMullen U20 Cup quarter finals UCC defeated Lansdowne 21:10

In the Junior 3 Cup South UCC defeated Crosshaven 6:3


UCC men are intervarsity “B” champions following their 68-56 over NUIM. UCC’s Adrian O Sullivan was awarded MVP  and he was also awarded an All Star for his performances thought out the event. Adrian will also receive the Cork International Hotel March Award for his performances with UCC Demons. He is joint awardee with his brother Ciaran



UCC seniors continued with their winning form securing a 2:1 victory at home to Bandon at the weekend to keep alive their MSL title hopes.

In the MSL Junior Division 1 UCC “A” drew 2:2 with Mallow

While in the Division 2 UCC Acad were beaten 0:3 by Crosshaven

In the Corinthians Cup First Round: UCC “A” were beaten 1:2 by Rathcoole, and UCC “B” defeated Castleview 3:1
