Exciting new Management team for Fresher Footballers

UCC Gaelic Football Club is delighted to announce a new management committee to take charge of the Fresher Football squad for 2016/2017. Former Cork, Nemo Rangers and Castleisland Desmonds star Christy Kearney returns to a position he held 4 years ago as manager. Christy said that he was delighted to be involved once more with the Fresher team and that the development of players in the tradition that UCC GAA promotes is the key to the club’s success on and off the pitch.

Kearney is joined by Charlie McLaughlin, Finbarr Nyhan and two former College players. Adrian Greaney (pictured) was captain of the winning 2011 UCC team that won the Centenary Sigerson Cup and the Cork County Senior Football championship. Greaney’s teammate on both those sides and Sports Studies graduate, Eoghan Buckley from the St Michael’s club completes the selection committee.
