€1300 euro raised for Irish Alzheimers Society by UCC GAA Club
Last Saturday on one of the most miserable wet and windy afternoons so far this year the Canon Michael O’Brien Cup was played in the Mardyke between UCC and Cork. The game resulted in a win for Cork but what mattered most was the occasion not the game.
Despite heavy rain during the first half a large crowd attended and it was through their generosity that the Cork Branch of the Irish Alzheimer’s Society collected in excess of 1300 euro, monies which will be used for the care of those who need it.
The Society wish to thank all those who donated on the day and express their deep appreciation.
