CUFL Semi-Finals take centre stage

This Tuesday is another big day for the club as no less than three of the club’s sides contest national CUFL Semi-Finals.

Our J3 side start off proceedings with their Division 4 Semi-Final at home to Dublin’s Griffith College. Kick-off in The Farm is at 2pm. The J3’s defeated National College of Ireland ‘B’ in the quarter-finals last time out.

Shortly afterwards is the meeting of our Freshers side and DCU ‘C’ in the Division 3 Quarter-Final, which gets underway at 14:30 in St Pat’s Drumcondra. A dramatic penalty shootout victory was needed for our First Year side in their quarter-final win over Dublin Business School after the game finished 3-3 after extra-time.

Finally at 4pm our senior side face the always impressive IT Carlow away in the Premier Division Quarter-Final. Having reached the semi-final of last week’s Collingwood Cup matters now turn back to the CUFL. Noel Healy’s men were 2-1 winners over Maynooth University in the last round and are looking to reach the final for the second year in a row.

We wish the best of luck to all three teams on Tuesday!
