Cork U.21s back boned by strong UCC presence

On this coming Saturday April 30th the Cork Under 21 football team play Mayo in the All- Ireland Final in Cusack Park Ennis. Cork will attempt to win this prestigious competition for a record 12th time.


UCC students have played a major part in getting the team to this stage and chief amongst this group is the captain Stephen Cronin from Nemo Rangers who is studying Computer Science.


In all there are 11 College players including Stephen and the rest are Michael McSweeney (Newcestown/Commerce), Kieran Histon (Cobh/Arts), Sean White (Clonakilty/Finance), Sean O’Donoughue (Inniscarra/Commerce), Ronan O’Toole (Eire OG/Civil & Environmental Engineering), Cian Kiely (Ballincollig/Sports Studies), Cian Dorgan (Ballincollig/Energy Engineering), Sean O’Leary (Bantry/Sports Studies), Kevin Flahive (Douglas/BIS) and Ryan Harkin (Mallow/Arts)


The game is timed for 6pm and will be shown live on TG4.
