UCC GAA / Ladies Gaelic Football All Ireland Finals

Following on from a magnificent All Ireland camogie win for Cork, which had a great UCC connection, the Cork senior Ladies Gaelic Football team attempt to make it a double when they face Dublin in the All Ireland Senior Ladies final on this coming Sunday September 16th in Croke Park.

Again, there is a UCC GAA vein running through the panel with six graduates including the captain Ciara O’Sullivan and four current students in the squad. These students Emma Spillane, Eimear Meaney, Hannah Looney and Libby Coppinger will attempt to win back the All Ireland cup that last came to Leeside in 2016.

Hannah and Libby will attempt to win two All Irelands in one week having being on the camogie team last Sunday. The game is live on TG4 with a 4pm throw in.

Also on Sunday the UCC senior hurling team will play Sarsfield’s in the quarter final of the Cork County championship in Pairc Ui Rinn with a 2.30pm start.
